John Turner Construction Group picks up a prestigious RoSPA Award

John Turner Construction Group has received the President’s Award, recognising 12 consecutive golds, from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Sustaining high levels of health and safety performance, John Turner Construction, who has been established for 110 years and has offices in Preston, Liverpool and Manchester is proud to have achieved this prestigious Gold award for the last 12 years.

The highly-regarded and sought after accolade will be presented to Gary Hilton, SHEQ Manager at John Turner Construction at the annual Health and Safety Awards ceremony and gala dinner held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in July.
Leading the way on accident prevention for the last century, the international charity has been presenting health and safety awards for the last 61 years.

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems including strong leadership and workforce involvement.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: ‘the RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety and held in high regard around the world. Winning one of the awards demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.’
