FOSTER BUILDING

University of Central Lancashire

The University of Central Lancashire is a prestigious international, multi-campus institution with a history dating back to 1828. John Turner Construction is proud to support their dedication to providing outstanding learning environments and we have recently completed the refurbishment of Room 58 in the Foster Building at their Preston campus. This project involved the transformation of an existing staff space into a modern and functional learning environment tailored to meet the university’s evolving needs.

The refurbishment required the removal of existing partition walls and doors, allowing for the construction of a new layout that includes an access corridor and three classroom areas. To enhance the space further, new ceilings, lighting and flooring were installed and a full redecoration was carried out, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and students.

Completed on time and within budget, this project exemplifies the importance of accurate planning and strong collaboration. By working efficiently and maintaining clear communication throughout, we ensured minimal disruption to the university’s operations while delivering a high-quality, fit-for-purpose learning space.
