Our third Salford regeneration scheme progressing well!!
Posted on March 6th, 2020
John Turner Construction has started work on site at Valette Square, Adelphi Street in Salford with the new build of 33 dwellings for English Cities Fund (ECf). This follows the completion of enabling works to create a 52 space car park on the site boundary.
Good progress has been made and all of the accommodation blocks are now at various stages of construction, from first level of brickwork to roof level trusses being installed.
Creating approximately 35,100 sq ft of usable floor space, the contemporary development is designed around a private communal courtyard with a new street established to connect Valette Square with Timekeepers Square and St Phillips Church neighbourhoods.
The Marketing Suite for Muse Developments has been refurbished in readiness for the launch of Valette Square. We are also providing our services to St Philips Church, which is adjacent to this new development to help them out with their heating system.
Valette Square is named after Pierre Adolphe Valette who was a french impressionist painter, best known for tutoring the famous Salfordian artist L S Lowry.
This is the third project John Turner Construction has collaborated with ECf on to regenerate Salford Central after successfully completing award winning schemes at Timekeepers Square and Carpino Place.
ECf is a joint venture with Homes England, Legal & General and Muse Developments and their partnership with Salford City Council is transforming this historic city.
