We recently constructed a number of timber and perspex partitions and donated them to Liverpool based charity, Thrive, to help keep their team and visitors Covid-19 secure. The screens were provided to Thrive via the Construction Impact Framework (CIF).
Thrive is a careers hub in Liverpool city centre, dedicated to inspiring socially excluded young people about their futures so that they can live happy, safe and fulfilling lives. The hub has been created as a coffee shop environment inviting young people to find and secure meaningful employment.
John Turner Construction’s in-house joinery workshop, based at the company’s head office in Preston, provided the screens to enable the centre to operate in a safe environment.
Sara Lawton, CIF Director said ‘Thrive has been made possible through the University of Liverpool, Liverpool City Council and the City of Liverpool College choosing to procure via CIF. Their understanding of the authentic social value CIF brings has enabled us to develop and fund a unique project designed to inspire future generations, to live happy safe and fulfilling lives.’
John Turner Construction is a CIF supply partner and has successfully delivered several projects via the Construction Impact Framework.
