John Turner Construction is pleased to announce the award of a new contract for the Neonatal Reconfiguration and Upgrade Works at Arrowe Park Hospital’s Women’s and Children’s Building, on behalf of Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
This project involves the refurbishment of the Neonatal Unit and associated accommodation on the ground floor of the hospital. The works will be delivered within a live, 24/7 clinical environment, requiring stringent infection control measures, phased programming and careful co-ordination to minimise disruption to patient care.
As a contractor with proven expertise in the healthcare sector, John Turner Construction brings a strong track record of successful delivery in complex operational hospital settings. Recent projects include works at Tameside, Parkside and Fairfield hospitals, with ongoing schemes currently underway at Wythenshawe Hospital.
The scope of works includes internal reconfiguration, high-specification finishes, upgraded mechanical and electrical installations and integration of specialist clinical environments. In line with the Trust’s sustainability targets, the project also incorporates energy-efficient solutions and environmentally responsible construction practices.
John Turner Construction is proud to contribute to the enhancement of neonatal services in the region and looks forward to working collaboratively with the Trust and key stakeholders to deliver this vital facility.
